In these field notes
A quote is only as useful as the request
A short inquiry can still be precise. Before asking for a price, put six details into one note: algorithm, model, performance bin, quantity, destination and the installation you have available. That reduces the risk of comparing equipment that cannot run at your site.
1. Name the workload, not just the coin
Bitcoin uses SHA-256 equipment. Zcash hardware uses Equihash. Litecoin and Dogecoin use Scrypt. These categories are not interchangeable. A compelling hashrate number in one algorithm tells you nothing about output on another.
Start with the hardware catalog, then choose the relevant algorithm before comparing individual machines.
2. Record the exact performance bin
Families often contain several ratings. An S21 Pro+ 234T and 245T are not the same electrical load, even though they share a family name. Write the bin on your inquiry and ensure it appears in the eventual order details.
3. Make voltage and cooling explicit
“We have power” is not enough information. Record the available voltage, phase, circuit capacity and cooling infrastructure. A hydro miner needs a compatible liquid loop; an immersion model needs a suitable tank and dielectric-fluid system. A qualified installer should check the proposed setup.
4. Choose a currency for the comparison
Canadian and US buyers can request CAD or USD pricing. Keep all quotes in one currency when comparing them, and check the currency on the payment instructions. Exchange rates and transfer costs can make a converted headline price misleading.
5. Agree on the order, not assumptions
Ask for the condition, quantity, configuration, delivery estimate, warranty scope and payment terms to be clear in writing. Do not infer available stock or a firm arrival date from a catalog listing.
GD Supplies mainly sells new stock. We ship worldwide. Our business location is Abbotsford, British Columbia.
6. Verify the payment conversation
Wire transfer and crypto require care because an incorrect transfer may be difficult or impossible to reverse. Verify instructions using an established contact route, especially if any details change. Read our payment verification notes before sending funds.
A copyable inquiry outline
“I’m considering [model and bin], [quantity] units, for [city and country]. Please quote in [CAD/USD]. My site has [voltage/phase] and [cooling approach]. I’m aiming for [timeframe]. Please confirm the configuration, condition and order terms.”
Send those details to GD Supplies when you are ready to discuss the equipment.
Specifications are catalog ratings and should be checked for the exact configuration. These notes do not promise mining income, equipment availability or a delivery date.
